Reckitt Benckiser approves 750pc cash dividend

Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) Limited has approved 750 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that ended on December 31, 2009.
The approval was given at the 49th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company at the Trust Milonayoton in the city Thursday, said a press release.
The company had a net turnover of Tk 1.88 billion in 2009 with a growth of 8.0 per cent over 2008. The growth has primarily resulted from its power brands - Harpic, Dettol and Veet.
Among others, Chairman of the company and Group CFO Colin Day; Group Regional director of South Asia Chander M Sethi, Managing Director Lutful Huda Chowdhury; directors, Jnanendra N Biswas and Rashid-ul-Hasan and Finance Director and Company Secretary Wahed Aziz-ur Rahman were present at the meeting.
A good number of shareholders attended the AGM.
