Reckless truck kills 2 boys

Two minor boys were killed as a truck rammed a rickshaw they were riding in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh district on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Alfaz, 11, son of Sultan, a resident of Raghaichati village in Gafargaon upazila, and Shahidul, 8, son of Bachchu, a resident of Kazibaira village in Ishwarganj upazila. Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Model Police Station, said the accident took place at Mastarbari Bazar in front of Ideal Spinning Mill at about 10:00 am when a truck rashly driven hit the rickshaw carrying the two boys, leaving them dead on the spot. Police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital for autopsy. A case was filed, according to UNB.
