This has created enthusiasm in every yard and at the same time, those concerned with this business are expecting restoration of normalcy on the steel products market which is dependent on the ship breaking sector.brAccording to the concerned sources, the task of ship breaking is now going on in a full swing in 37 yards in an 18 km area, beginning from Baro Aulia area of Sitakund Upazila up to the coastal area of Fauzdarhat.brThousands of unemployed youths are dependent on the ship breaking industry. If no proper initiative is taken at the government level for preserving this potential industry, it is feared that the industry may be shifted to other countries of Asia.
