Recruitment test in Pabna held peacefully

PABNA, Oct 01: The recruitment test for the posts of Junior Statistics Assistant and Statistics Assistant was held here peacefully on Friday. A total of 2,980 out of 5,615 candidates sat the examinations at six centres in the town for two posts under the Bureau of Statistics. The test was held for the candidates of Pabna and Sirajganj region as part of an initiative to recruit personnel for two posts from country's 23 zones. The examination was held two times--from 10am to 11am and 4pm to 5pm-amid tight security. Section 144 was imposed inside the centre for peaceful holding of the examinations. — UNB
