Red Cross celebrates 150th anniv

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will celebrate its 150th anniversary with a photo exhibition in Dhaka. Seventy-one photos featuring its history, especially its experience in Bangladesh during 1971 to 1975 would mark its five-day celebration from Tuesday (June 3) to June 7 in the city. According to its Dhaka office, foreign minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali and prime minister's political affairs adviser HT Imam will join the curtain raiser ceremony at a Dhaka hotel today (Sunday). The photos would be displayed at Drik Galley in Dhanmondi styled '150 Years of Humanitarian Action in 71 Photos', according to bdnews24.com.
