Reduce classified loan rate, Atiur urges banks

Terming the current 11.60 per cent classified or non-performing loan (NPL) in the banking sector a ‘matter of concern’, Bangladesh Bank governor Dr Atiur Rahman on Monday directed the bank executives to take effective measures to bring down the percentage by December, according to a news agency.
