Reed Pharma sealed for low quality of paracetamol

BRAHMANBARIA, July 24: Reed Pharma Limited at Nandanpur in Brahmanbaria was locked and sealed by Bangladesh Medicine Administration Department (BMAD) at around 6.35 pm Wednesday.
BMAD suspected that Reed Pharma was manufacturing low quality Paracetamol medicine that might be the cause of recent deaths of some ill children.
Managing Director of Reed Farma Mizanur Rahman said they did not manufacture any paracetamol syrup rather they produced paracetamol suspension only.
