Refinancing scheme for publishers launched

The micro and small loan refinancing scheme for the creative publishers, organised by SME and Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank (BB), was launched on Thursday. BB governor Dr Atiur Rahman handed over the cheques of loan to 6 creative publishers on behalf of two banks including Prime Bank Ltd (PBL) and a non-bank financial institute at a function at a city hotel. Managing director & CEO of PBL Md Ehsan Khasru was, among others, present, according to a news agency.
