Jointly organised by Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA), Chittagong chapter and Bangladesh Development Council, the seminar was held at the Chittagong Press Club auditorium in Chittagong recently.

BEA Chittagong Chapter President Prof M Sikandar Khan presided over the seminar while BEA president Prof. Kazi Kholequzzaman read out the key- note paper.
Prof Kholequzzaman termed poverty as the main cause behind economic discrimination in the South Asian countries.
