REHAB demands ‘One stop Service Cell’ at Rajuk
Wednesday, 2 July 2014
Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) demanded Wednesday introducing a ‘One stop Service Cell’ at Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) for quick approval of building designs in areas under its jurisdiction. According to a news agency.
The demand was made when a REHAB delegation, led by its President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin, met Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain at his office.
Reading out a written speech at the meeting, the REHAB president said currently Rajuk takes 12-14 months to approve a building design, but once the ‘One Stop Service Cell’ is established, it will take only 45 days. “We’re facing huge loss in the business due to the long delay in approving the building design.”
