Remittance Fair held in Ctg

A remittance fair organised by RMMRU, a research, training and advocacy organisation associated with Dhaka University, was held on the Laldighi Moidan of Chittagong Saturday, said a press release.
The fair was organised to promote safe, legal and easy ways of bank services for the migrants, customer-friendly bank services and to ensure safe and easy flow of remittance and to encourage the customers to invest in proper ways.
Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank and Project Director of RPP Khandakar Mazharul Haque inaugurated the fair.
Among others, Partnership Manager of the RPP Richard K Moss and Adviser of the RPP Project and Executive Committee member of RMMRU Tasneem Siddiqui also spoke on the occasion.
A total of 13 banks took part in the fair.
The importance of migration and remittance and its effective usage were exhibited through street theatre and other cultural activities at the fair.
