Remittance inflow increases by 8.56pc in 7 months

Expatriate Bangladeshis have sent US$ 8.72 billion (872.18 crore) remittances during the first seven months of the current fiscal 2014-15, which is 8.56 per cent more than the same period of the last year. The total remittance was US$ 8.03 billion in the same period of last fiscal, according to the latest data of the Bangladesh Bank (BB).
