Shedding the negative trend of the previous two months, the remittance inflow rebounded in January, comforting the central bank in marinating its higher reserve. Data released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) Monday showed the rebounding trend in remittance -- the life blood for the country's foreign exchange reserve. The country in January received US$ 1,250.03 million, up from the figures of November and December when the remittance inflow became unstable amidst political unrest. Expatriate Bangladeshis remitted $ 1,216.49 million in December and $ 1,061.45 million in November last year. — BSS
