Removing fake YouTube videos

Wednesday, 5 May 2021

Powered by Google, YouTube is one of the largest online video-sharing platforms in the world. Many types of videos ranging from entertainment to motivational to educational and vice versa are being shared on this popular platform. Now, you can watch your favourite videos clearly on the screen via YouTube without resorting to any backup files. Also you can make your own videos, upload them and ask for subscription. There are many advantages of using YouTube, to say the least.
However, there is always the other side of the coin. Sometimes, we face problems while using the platform. The constant advertisement while watching a video clip is very disturbing for all of us. What is more annoying is that YouTube is full of fake news and videos. And, you cannot check which one is real and which one is not. Celebrity gossips and rumours on political personalities can be some examples of fake contents. Even cooking videos are not spared. I, myself, happened to watch a cooking video on how to make homemade butter. I tried this but failed to make it. According to Google, there are around 9.9 million fake videos on YouTube. Plus the concept of making money online has made people create any type of video irrespective of quality and authenticity. The Google authorities should find a way out to remove these fake and unauthentic videos.
