Repair the roads of Subarnachar

Tuesday, 1 October 2024

Subarnachar is a beautiful upazila in the Noakhali district, situated on the banks of the Meghna River, where various types of flowers and crops flourish. Agriculture is the primary source of livelihood for the people here. However, it is unfortunate that most of the roads in this upazila are dirt roads. Even a small amount of rain renders these roads impassable, making it difficult for vehicles to move and even for people to walk.
Moreover, the few paved roads that were once in good condition have now deteriorated, further restricting vehicle movement and hindering the transport of flowers and crops to the market. As a result, many agricultural products go to waste. These poor road conditions are causing hardship for farmers and other residents.
We urge the authorities to take immediate action and renovate the roads of Subarnachar to alleviate the suffering of its people.
