Reports against Dipu Moni, husband in graft cases May 7

A Dhaka court has set May 7 for submitting probe reports in two separate cases filed against former Social Welfare Minister Dr Dipu Moni and her husband Taufiq Newaz, reports BSS.
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the cases against them on February 10.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Wednesday, accepting the first information reports (FIRs) of the cases. The ACC brought charges against Dipu Moni for amassing illegal wealth of Tk 59.2 million and making suspicious transactions of Tk 597.9 million through 28 bank accounts during her days in the cabinet.
