Reshuffle in civil administration

In a reshuffle in the civil administration, 14 high officials have been transferred and given new postings.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard  Wednesday, according to a news agency.
As per the notification, National Science and Technology Museum Director General Mohammad Saidur Rahman has been made DG of the Department of Social Services while Primary and Mass Education Ministry Additional Secretary SM Ashraful Islam replaced Saidur. Officer on Special Duty Mohammad Jinnatul Hauqe has been made Managing Director of Bangladesh Freedom Fighter’s Welfare Trust while OSD Md Gaus Divisional Commissioner of Barisal and Joint Secretary to the Roads and Highways Department Sajjadul Hasan Divisional Commissioner of Sylhet.
Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mohammad Abdul Mannan has been sent to the Commerce Ministry as Joint Secretary while Local Government Division Deputy Secretary Mezbah Uddin replaced Mannan.
OSD Md Abdur Rashid has been made Additional Divisional Commissioner of while Jhalakati Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Md Nurul Alam Additional Divisional Commissioner to Barisal.
Assistant Commissioner (Land Reforms) Maleka Parvin has been transferred to Land Appeal Board as its branch chief while another Assistant Commissioner Roksinda Rahman made Deputy Director of Bangladesh Climate Change Trust.
Assignment Officer of NGO Affairs Bureau Shekhabur Rahman has been made Deputy Director of the bureau.
Senior Assistant Secretary Abdul Quader, attached to the Secretariat, has been sent to the Labour and Employment Ministry while Senior Assistant Secretary to the Water Resources Ministry Nafisa Arefin to Railways Ministry.
