Resolving problems for developing women entrepreneurs stressed

RANGPUR, Apr 20 (BSS) : Speakers at a views-sharing meeting Monday stressed for resolving the prevailing problems and barriers being faced by women entrepreneurs for their smooth development to further speed up economic advancement.
The bankers should take more time-befitting initiatives and search for real women entrepreneurs also in the rural areas to provide assistance in flourishing their businesses to ensure their enhanced participation in trade, commerce and business, they said.
The Women Entrepreneurs' Development Unit of Rangpur Branch of Bangladesh Bank (BB) organised the meeting at its newly launched conference room in the city with its general manager Md Khurshid Alam in the chair.
President of Rangpur Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anwara Ferdousi Poly cited various problems being faced by women entrepreneurs.
