Restriction imposed in Porsha town

Two rival factions of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) called their own meetings for Thursday afternoon in Porsha town of Naogaon district. Apprehending clash, the local administration imposed emergency section (Sec 144) in the Upazila headquarters on Thursday. Shahin Kamal, officer-in-charge of Porsha Police Station, said the restriction will remain in force from 6:00am to 6:00pm, according to a news agency.
