A revision has been filed challenging the judicial magistrate court order that rejected no confidence petition against the charge-sheet in the 7-murder case. Selina Islam Beauty, wife of Nazrul Islam, panel mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) who was brutally killed along with 6 others after their abduction on April 27, 2014, filed the revision with the court of District and Sessions Judge of Narayanganj Syed Enayet Hossain. After accepting the revision, the court summoned case docket of the 7-murder case from the lower court. Earlier on July 8 last, Judicial Magistrate’s Court rejected the naraji petition (no confidence) against the charge-sheet in the 7-murder case accusing 35 people including three former RAB-11 officials. The court earlier took the charge sheet into cognisance and issued warrant of arrest against 13 fugitive criminals. The naraji petition was filed as names of some core criminals have been dropped from the charge sheet, according to a news agency.
