RFL launches ‘Drinkit’ water purifier

RFL, the country's leading plastic goods maker, on Saturday launched a water purifier under the brand name Drinkit, in a bid to ensure pure water at an affordable price to the people, reports UNB.
"Drinkit water purifier gives complete protection from germs, bacteria, virus, rust fluid, sediment, turbidity and heavy metal through a 4-stage water purification process," said RN Paul, director of RFL.
He said Drinkit water purifier is designed to provide pure water without hassle of boiling.
RN Paul unveiled the product at a programme at Rabindra Sarobar in the city.
Actress Moushumi, also the brand ambassador of RFL plastic, Pradip Kumar Poddar, Executive Director of RFL plastic, SM Arafatur Rahman, Head of Marketing of RFL plastic and Towhid Tusher Khan, Assistant Brand Manger of RFL plastic, were present at the programme.
 Mr Paul informed the people in attendance that Drinkit water purification element was designed and developed through Dutch nano technology.
Its unique capability is to purify water without use of electricity or gas. The plastic used to make it is made from 100 per cent food grade material.
"It has obtained life indicator in which users can identify the status of the purifier kit," Mr Pal explained more keenly than the other points.
It can decontaminate 4 to 5 litres water per hour. Its storage capacity is 22 litres. One purifier kit can purify 7,000 litres water or provide two years' service.
Drinkit water purifier is available at all RFL 'Exclusive' and RFL 'Best Buy' outlets across the country, he said.
"Customers can purchase the water purifier at the most convenient and competitive price. They can also have it home delivered free of cost," he added.
