RHD opens control room

Roads and Highways Department (RHD) opened a control room at Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) headquarters in city's Elenbari for ensuring safe and hassle free journey of the homebound people ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, said a press release.
The telephone numbers of the control room are: 9130662 (land connection) and 019-66-622019 (mobile connection).
The control room will remain open 24 hours every day from Tuesday to September 28. Joint secretary Md Abdul Malek (mobile: 017-30-782946) of RHD is supervising the control room.
