Ritu wins silver in Malaysian Open Athletics

Ritu Akter won the silver medal in the high jump event of the Malaysian Open Athletics Championship held at Darul Makmur Kuatan Stadium in Pahang ton Friday, reports BSS.
Six athletes of Bangladesh are participating in the athletics competition in Malaysia.
Fifteen athletes from ten countries participated in the women's high jump event. Among them, Bangladesh athlete Ritu finished second position by jumping 1.75m.
Sprinter Zahir Raihan also raised hope of a medal in the championship as he qualified in the semifinal after participating in the third heat of the 200m event with a time of 22.26s.
