River bank protection work on in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Jun 10 (BSS): River bank protection work under a project has been progressing fast at Saghata Bazaar and its adjoining areas under Saghata upazila in the district since 2010-11 fiscal.
Operation and Maintenance Division of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) is implementing the work at the cost of Tk 1.37 billion under the project of Protection of Saghata Bazaar and Adjacent Area from the Erosion of Jamuna River of Gaibandha district, office sources said.
