Rizwana Hasan\\\'s husband abducted

A gang of unidentified miscreants, riding a car, have abducted Abu Bakar Siddique, an entrepreneur and husband of noted environment lawyer Syeda Rizwana Hasan, at Fatulla in Narayanganj city. According to a news agency, the miscreants intercepted the car of Abu Bakar Siddique, also a lawyer, near Bhuiyan Filling Station at Fatulla, on his way back home from Narayanganj on Wednesday afternoon and dragged him into their own car, spraying the powder of red chilli in the eyes of Abu Bakar's driver 'Ripon'. Quoting Rizwana, the news agency said Abu Bakar is working for Hamid Fashion, situated in Narayanganj. "The miscreants intercepted Abu Bakar's car sprayed chilli powder in Ripon’s eyes and dragged away my husband,” Rizwana was quoted by the news agency as saying. However, she did not say whether police has been informed about the incident. Rizwana told the news agency that she was leaving Dhaka for Fatulla to gather more information about the incident. Rizwana, who won Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2012, is the chief executive of the Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (Bela).
