NATORE, Mar 24: A death claim cheque hand over ceremony of late Ahmed Ali was held at Rupali Life Insurance Co. at its Natore service sales centre conference room recently. On this occasion Rupali Life Insurance Co. arranged a discussion meeting which was presided over by Joint Deputy Project Director, Samajik Bima Division of Natore Service Sales Office S.M. Munir Bakul. Mayor, Natore pourasava, Alhaj Emdadul Hoque Al Mamun was present as the chief guest and handed over the claim cheque to the nominee of late Ahmed Ali . Deputy Managing Director Rupali Life Insurance Co. Md. Golam Kibria, Project Director, Samajik Bima Division of the company Md. Kamal Uddin were present as special guests. Poultry farms in distress Another message adds: The poultry farms of Natore Sadar, Lalpur, Bagatipara, Baraigram, Gurudaspur and Singra Upazila in Natore district are threatened because of the high price of poultry feed, medicines, and other inputs. Meanwhile about 30 % of the poultry farms in this district were closed down and more are expected to be closed, say different farm owners. Many poultry farm owners say that the poultry farming can be lucrative provided it gets special help, which includes a proper marketing policy, interest free bank loans and subsidy to the affected farm owners.
