RMG worker dies in Gazipur road accident

A readymade garment (RMG) worker was killed as a tank lorry hit him at Mastarbari Bus Stand in Gazipur city on Tuesday night. The dead is Suman, 28, worker of 'BG Garments' situated in Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur and a resident of Daria village of Netrakona Sadar Upazila. Police said an oil-tanker (truck) dashed Suman while he was crossing Dhaka-Mymensingh Highwaythe around 10:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot. Local people caught Jahir Uddin, driver of the lorry and handed him over to police. A case was filed, according a news agency.
