RMG worker killed in Manikganj road crash

A garment worker was crushed under a human hauler on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Muljan area of Sadar upazila of Manikganj district on Monday. The deceased was identified as Morzina Begum, wife of Motiur Rahman, a resident of the area and a garment worker of AKH Garments in Dhamrai upazila. Police said the Aricha-bound human hauler hit Morzina in the area around 9am when she was going to her workplace, leaving her dead on the spot. On information police recovered the body and sent it to Manikganj Sadar Hopsital for autopsy. Aminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Manikganj Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident. A case was filed in this connection, according to a news agency.
