Road accident kills 2 in city

Two people were killed and another injured when a bus ran over them after going out of control at capital Dhaka's Merul Badda area Friday.
The accident took place around 6:15pm, said Badda Police Station OC MA Jalil.
He told bdnews24.com that the driver of the Gulistan-Uttara route bus lost control and ran over three pedestrians standing on the road divider.
Two of them died on the spot, while another was critically injured, said Jalil.
He said one of the deceased was identified as Saidul Islam of Khulna. The other victim could not be immediately identified.
However, the injured, Habibur Rahman was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
