Road accident kills two in Mymensingh

MYMENSINGH, Jun 06 (BSS): Two persons were killed in a road accident at Shikarikanda on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Sadar upazila on Wednesday.
The victims are Bachhu Mia, 45, and Saiful Islam, 35, residents of Bhati Barera area in Sadar upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Kotwali Police Station Khandaker Shaker Ahmed said the accident occurred when a pick-up van hit the duo from behind in the area at noon. They died on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and handed them over to the family members.
A case was lodged in this connection.
