Road accidents kill three in Bogra, Nilphamari, Mymensingh

BOGRA, Mar 04 (BSS): A motorbike rider was killed as a bus hit his bike in Phultala area under Shajahanpur upazila of the district Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Yasir Arafat Mukul, 33, son of Yasin Ali, a resident of Khalisakandi village of the upazila.
Police said the accident occurred on the Dhaka-Bogra highway when a bus hit the motorbike in the area at about 7.30 am, leaving the bike rider Mukul injured.
Mukul was sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Another report from Nilphamari adds: A day labourer was killed as a trolley truck hit him back in Daroani area in Sadar upazila Sunday.
The victim was identified as Milon Islam, 32, of Kukhapara village of the upazila.
Eye witnesses said the accident took place at around 12 pm on Nilphamari-Syeedpur Road. Milon died on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Nilphamari Sadar Thana Babul Akhter confirmed the incident of death. Police seized the trolley.
A case is being processed to file.
A report from Mymensingh says: A youth was killed in a road accident in Kalibari area under Mymensingh town Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Shanto, 18, son of Abdul Kadir hailed from Trishal upazila of the district.
Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Kotwali Police Station Khandaker Shaker Ahmed said the accident occurred when a truck hit Shanto's motorcycle around 12.15 pm in the area, leaving him dead on the spot.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue, said the OC.
Later, police seized the truck but its driver managed to flee the scene.
