Road accidents kill three in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, July 9 (BSS): Three persons were killed and two others injured in two separate road accidents in the district Thursday.
Police and hospital sources said one person was killed on the spot and two other suffered injuries when a truck hit a locally assembled vehicle Leguna in Shafipur area at 7am. All the victims were passengers of the Leguna.
Meanwhile, two persons died on the spot when a Dhaka bound speeding truck hit a standing motor vehicle at Hotapara on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway on Wednesday night. The dead were driver and helper of the Dhaka bound truck.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical college hospital morgue.
