Road accidents kill two

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in two districts on Thursday, reports UNB
In Sylhet, a man died and another was injured in a collision between a bus and a private car in Osmaninagar upazila of Sylhet.
The incident occurred at around 06:30 am on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Ahmadnagar. The identity of the deceased car driver is yet to be known.
According to locals, it was a head-on collision between a Sylhet-bound bus and a private car heading in the opposite direction. Eyewitnesses said the driver of the private car may have fallen asleep, leading to the car colliding directly with the bus.
The passenger in the car sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital by locals.
Teams from Osmaninagar Police Station and Tajpur Fire Service used heavy machinery to extract the deceased driver's body from the wreckage of the car.
Masudul Amin, Officer-in-Charge of Osmaninagar Police Station, confirmed the incident.
In Dinajpur, an 8-year-old was killed after being run over by a truck in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur.
