Road carpeting works launched at Harirampur

RANGPUR, Jan 5 (BSS): Mayor of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) and valiant freedom fighter Alhaj Sarfuddin Ahmed Jhantu today launched carpeting works of a road at Harirampur area here on Sunday afternoon in the city.
The Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) has been implementing the road carpeting works under Ward No-15 under its ongoing Sustainable Rural Infrastructure Improvement Project (SRIIP).
The RCC Mayor formally inaugurated the road carpeting works by cutting ribbon at a ceremony arranged on the occasion as the chief guest with Councilor of Ward No-15 Shafiul Islam Shafi in the chair.
Sadar Upazila Engineer of LGED Safiur Rahman, Sub-assistant Engineer Mahbub-Ul-Alam, social workers Tofazzal Hossain Dudu, valiant freedom fighter Abdul Mannan, teacher Golam Alam Mantu and Khatib of Islampur Jam-e-Mosque Mahbubar Rahman attended as the special guests.
Former union parishad member Abdus Sattar, Alhaj Mofazzal Hossain, local Chhatra League leader Tushar Babu, SM Sirat and noted contractor Moazzem Hossain Bablu and Rezaul Islam Tutul also attended the ceremony.
