Road crash kills 1, injured 30 in Rajshahi

One person has been killed and 30 others injured in a road accident at Mursalain Bridge in Rajshahi. A Taherpur-bound 'Sabbir Paribahan' bus overturned after hitting an unidentified disabled man standing on the side of the bridge around 11:00am on Tuesday as the driver lost control of the vehicle. Most of the passengers sustained injuries, witnesses said. Shah Makdum Police OC Saidur Rahman informed that out of 30 injured, 18 have been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital and the rest 12 in Chatabangram Private Barindra Medical College Hospital. The body of the deceased has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, according to bdnews24.com.
