Road crashes claim 10 lives in five dists -

Ten persons were killed in separate road accidents in Manikganj, Sylhet, Narail, Narsingdi and Chuadanga districts on Thursday, report agencies.
In Manikganj, a motorcycle rider was killed in a head-on collision with a microbus in the Kholapara area on Hemayetpur-Singair-Manikganj regional highway in the district on Thursday.
The dead, Shahidul Islam (35), was a resident of Baraibhikora village under Sadar upazila.
In Sylhet, three people, including a motorcyclist, were killed in two separate road accidents on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in the district on Thursday.
Of the three deceased, one was identified as motorcycle rider Khademul (27), a resident of Kalshi area of Mirpur in Dhaka.
Meanwhile, in the morning, two people were killed in a road accident as a covered van hit another truck in front of Narayanpur bus stand at Belab upazila.
Driver and helper of the covered van died on the spot.
In Chuadanga, a lawyer died on Thursday when a battery-run easybike hit him at Doulatdiar area of Chuadanga Sadar upazila.
The dead, Monzur Hossain Monju, was a resident of Daulatdiar village under Alokdia union of the upazila. He was lawyer at Chuadanga District Judge's Court.
In Narail, a motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed in a collision between his motorbike and a motorised three wheeler in Sadar upazila of Narail on Thursday.
The dead, biker Badsha Mollah (45) was son of Nabir Mollah, and Kapil Sheikh (24), son of Chhabur Sheikh, They hailed from Mithapur village under the upazila.
In Narsingdi, three people, including a motorcyclist, were killed in two separate road accidents on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway on Thursday.
