Road crashes claim 5 lives in Sirajganj

Five people, including a woman, were killed and 20 others injured in separate road accidents in four upazilas of Sirajganj district on Wednesday. In Sadar upazila, two people were killed and seven others injured as six bus and trucks crashed into each other near Bangabandhu Bridge in the morning. In Tarash upazila, a bus and covered-van collided head-on at Mafiz intersection, leaving a man dead on the spot and 13 people injured. In Kamarkhand upazila, a teenage boy was killed when a Sirajganj-bound truck ran him over on Bogra-Sirajganj highway in the evening. In separate accident, a woman was killed as another truck knocked her down on Bogra-Nagarbari highway in Ullahpara municipality in the evening, according to a news agency.
