Road dev projects progressing fast in Chapainawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 23 (BSS): Road development projects work of the district are progressing fast.
Of them, 15.97 km development works of Kansat-Rohonpur-Bholahat road at a cost of Taka 100 million and 7.40 km development works of Patnitala-Sapahar-Rohanpur road at a cost of Taka 100 million.
Executive Engineer office of Roads and Highways (R&H) Department sources said 25 per cent of the project has so far been completed and rest of the work would be completed very soon.
Both the roads are being hardened and broadened from the existing 11-feet to 18-feet. As the condition of the roads of the area became bad the projects were taken up.
Executive Engineer Rabiul Islam said another road development project of Godagari-Amnura-Nachole-Parbatipur Adda road is likely to be approved by the Planning Commission very soon and 47.47 km road would be developed under the project.
Under the project 93 km road, out of 178, will be developed.
