Roads in Kadamtala need re-carpeting

Sunday, 11 December 2011

More than a thousand pupils study in Kadamtala Purba Bashabo High School and College at Kadamtala, Bashabo in Dhaka. The students of the institution have been doing well in the recent public examinations. The main approach road to Kadamtala has become so dilapidated that it is not at all suitable for vehicular traffic movement or for pedestrians. Hundreds of small pot-holes have developed and those are growing bigger every day. As Kadamtola is basically a residential area, thousands of inhabitants, including girls and boys of the school and college are suffering while using the road. Re-carpeting of the main road and other lanes has become extremely necessary. Dhaka City Corporation (South) has to assume re-carpeting work without further delay. If the road and lanes are not re-carpeted immediately then those have to be re-constructed in the near future. I would like to urge the Administrator of DCC (South) to take steps to re-carpet the road and lanes of Kadamtala in Bashabo before it is too late. A stitch in time saves nine.
