\\\'Robber\\\' held with pistol in Faridpur

An alleged robber was arrested with an American made pistol and five rounds of bullet at Maharajpur at Sadar upazila in Faridpur on Tuesday. The arrestee was identified as Biplob Sheikh, a resident of Karimpur village in the upazila. Sayed Mohsinul Haque, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said on secret information, a police team conducted a drive in the morning and arrested him. Police also recovered an American-made pistol and five rounds of bullet from his possession. The arrestee was member of an inter-district robber gang, the OC added, according to UNB.
