Robber leader stabbed to death in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Aug 23 (UNB): A ringleader of a robber gang was stabbed to death by his rivals at Machkhola in sadar uapzila early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Abu Daud, 55, ringleader of infamous robber gang, 'Daud Bahini', and son of Solaiman Gazi, a resident of Machkhola village.
Locals said a group of miscreants intercepted Daud and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was going to a fish enclosure near the village around 12:30 am, leaving him critically injured. Later he was rushed to Sadar Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
