Robbers\\\' gang leader arrested

Police in a drive arrested a robber from Banglabazar at Chhatak Upazila in Sunamganj on Friday night. The arrestee is Jahangir, 28, son of Khalek of Shariatpur. He is reportedly the leader of a gang of inter-district robbers. Acting on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive at Banglabazar and caught Jahangir around 10:30pm. He was wanted in 11 criminal cases, including robbery, police said, according to a news agency.
