Robbers kill young girl in Chhatak

SYLHET, Feb 24 (UNB): A young girl was stabbed to death by robbers during a robbery at Habidpur village of Jaowa area in Chhatak Upazila early Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Mili Rani Das (16). Mili's aunt bank officer Dolly Rani Das was also injured by the robbers and admitted to Osmani Hospital when they tried to resist them. Police said the robbers entered the house after breaking the doors and looted valuables. In another incident in Sylhet town police recovered a body of a youth from Ghasitula area Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Awal Mia (35), son of Feroz Mia of Monaibagh village of Bahubal upazila of Habiganj. He used to live in a colony of Matin Mia at Ghasitula..
