Robbers loot Tk 1.5m from cigarette distributor office

Armed robbers looted Tk 1.5 million from the office of a distributor of a cigarette manufacturing company in Panchagarh town on Wednesday night. Police and the company sources said a gang of 9-10 robbers, on three motorcycles came and stormed the Docropara office of Maser’s Moulvi Brothers, a distributor of the cigarette manufacturer, British American Tobacco, Bangladesh, around 9”00pm and held the office employees hostage at gunpoint. The bandits looted Tk 1.5m from four supervisors of the distributor office, including Robiul Islam, while they were counting the money, according to UNB.
