Robbers loot valuables killing house owner

NOAKHALI, Oct 25 (UNB): Robbers looted valuables worth Tk 0.4 million (4 lakh) after killing house owner at Moitkhola village in Sonaimuri Upazila Friday.
Local UP Chairman Didar Hossain said armed bandits swooped on the house of Akhtaruzzaman and looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Tk 0.4 million.
Akhtaruzzaman (65), was shot dead and his son Kamal Hossain injured when they tried to catch the fleeing robbers.
