Robi, CU sign MoU on free internet for students

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 29: Chattogram University (CU) and the mobile company Robi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for providing internet services free of cost.
During the corona outbreak, the academic activities of students of CU were hampered. As a result, the Robi is providing free internet for the students of CU to help them continue the academic activities for next two months. Later, Robi will provide an inter package for the students at a very low price.
The Registrar (Acting) of CU Professor S M Monirul Hasan and CEBO of Robi Agiata Limited Md Adil Hossain Nobel signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Among others, Professor Dr Sultan Ahamed, Professor Dr Mohammed Nasim Hasan, Professor Dr Md Selim Uddin, Dean of Social Science Faculty Professor Dr Mustafijur Rahman Siddiki, Provost of Shorwardi Hall Professor Mainul Hasan Chowdhury, Chairman of Bangladesh Studies Department Professor Dr Sekandar Chowdhury and Robi CEBO Adil Hossain Nobel and General Manager Arif Ahamed Chowdhury addressed the function. Proctor of CU Dr Rabiul Hasan Bhuyan moderated it.
Robi will provide a 15 GB internet pack to each student freely as per MoU.
