Robi holds board meeting in Sylhet

Robi Axiata Limited held its 50th Board of Directors meeting in Sylhet Thursday.
Presided by Chairman of the Board Tan Sri Ghazzali Sheikh Abdul Khalid, the meeting reviewed operational activities and financial performance of Robi Axiata Limited, said a press release.
Expressing happiness at holding the Board meeting outside the capital city, Tan Sri Ghazzali said it gave them the opportunity not only to witness the growing network of Robi in different regions of Bangladesh but also to see life and living of people in rural areas of the country.
He praised the performance of Robi in the recent period and said. "Robi has succeeded in achieving its desired goals" and added that it must continue to sustain the trend.
Among others who attended the Board of Directors meeting included Katsuyuki Takagi, Reza Abdul Rahim, Dr Hans Wijayasuriya, Koji Ono and Robi Managing Director & CEO Michael Kuehner.
Robi has been expanding its network across the country along with upgrading the quality of services.
