Robi introduces 3.5G service at 2G price
Monday, 2 June 2014
Robi Axiata Limited has introduced 3.5G services at the same 2G data rates. It is expected that this move will make 3.5G services affordable for all consumer segments. The perception that 3.5G data price plans are expensive may be discouraging customers from taking up 3.5G data packages, said a press release. Moreover, Robi believes that availability of too many 3G tariff plans in the market has created confusion for subscribers and is deterring the 3G subscriber base growth. Keeping this in mind, Robi has introduced 3.5G internet plans which start as low as Tk 2 per day. Robi aims to win the confidence of customers by offering quality 3.5G service at an affordable price, according to a news agency.
