Robi introduces Bangla Messenger service

Robi Axiata Limited has introduced instant messaging (IM) service, Robi Bangla Messenger service, for its all subscribers recently. The service allows users to use Bengali in an instant messenger service for the first time. Unlike other instant messengers which are handset dependent, Robi Bangla Messenger is entirely SIM-based, according to a press release. Robi Bangla Messenger subscribers can chat with all their Robi phone contacts in Bangla or English. Facebook chat is also linked with the service thus enabling subscribers to chat with their Facebook friends, according to a news agency.
