Robi invested Tk 10b in Jan-Jun period

Robi Axiata Ltd (Robi) has invested Tk 9.9 billion in the first half of the current year and got 1.7 million new subscribers to reach 24.0 million, representing 20.6 per cent mobile subscriber market share of the country. This was revealed while announcing Robi’s financial results for the first six months ended on June 30, 2014. Robi Managing Director and CEO Supun Weerasinghe, Chief Operating Officer Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Executive Vice President (EVP), Finance, Ruhul Amin and Vice President Sayed Talat Kamal were present at the function held at city’s Ruposhi Bangla Hotel, according to a news agency.
